We are Hiring – Administration Officer (part-time)

ADMINISTRATION OFFICER

12 hours per week. Permanent position based in Norwich. £7176 per annum.

We are a well established and respected environmental charity working locally, and nationally with the umbrella CPRE charity based in London, for a beautiful and living countryside for everyone to enjoy.  We carry out a range of campaigning and promotional activities to raise awareness of the challenges facing the Norfolk countryside and rural communities.

The Administration Officer will carry out day-to-day tasks such as dealing with records and office procedures, arranging and assisting at meetings and events, communicating with the CPRE members and the national CPRE office, supporting volunteers, Trustees and other staff members. There will be the opportunity to grow in the role with media and press responsibilities, involvement in our campaigns, and in helping us to develop our Charity including fundraising and membership.

The hours will be 12 per week split over three days during standard office hours. The initial salary for this post will be £7,176 per annum (£22,425 pro rata based on a full working week of 37.5 hours) depending on experience and the role carries the opportunity of a contributory pension (employer’s contribution 4%), and 25 days holiday entitlement (pro-rata). A three-month probationary period will apply. The nature of the role will require some working outside these times.  Training and support will be available to the successful applicant.
