Join as a VOLUNTEER. We welcome people of all abilities and ages, whether they can give us a very little time, or a lot. Work can be very varied and interesting. Read more about what we are looking for here.

Check whether your Parish Council has signed the Parish Council Pledge and if not, ask them to do so, and sign our Online Petition.

Become a Parish Councillor. Not everyone appreciates that Parish Councils are an important level of scrutiny when it comes to local planning issues and potentially have a powerful role to play in their neighbourhood.

Monitor planning applications in your local area so you know at an early stage what has been applied for. This only need take a few minutes each week to scan the published applications on your local council website. Another very useful resource to alert you to applications in your area is www.planningfinder.co.uk
